Wickard founder Oliver Roberts traveled to Dhaka for two AI education engagements in August 2026.
At the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Roberts presented on court efficiency and public trust to Bangladesh’s Law Minister and senior government and judicial officials. The discussion considered applications in case management, research, document review, translation, and public-facing services, alongside oversight and data-governance safeguards.
At North South University’s Department of Law, Roberts addressed students and faculty on the implications of AI for legal education and practice. The lecture considered research, drafting, litigation, client service, and professional responsibility.
The engagements were part of Roberts’ work as Co-Director of the WashU Law AI Collaborative. They provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with government and academic audiences on the practical questions institutions face as AI use expands.
